Week 9 EOC: Narrative

In the beautiful Italy a small family enterprise purchases a distillery and revolutionizes rum-making on May 22, 1995.

My parents had been living in Italy for a long time before I was born, Vita was a vodka that they had been working on for a long time. Every step of the process reflectsVita’s dedication to quality and excellence. they went back to the united states so that I was born on that same day on may 22nd 1995 Vita was launched and distributed around various countries. 
They named their drink Vita because it means life, and living in Italy was just living la dolce vita, the sweet life. Vita represents life and the sweetness of it. While the rum quickly began winning awards for quality and technical innovation, the new company faced major adversities such as earthquakes, epidemic disease and financial distress. But the Vita family persevered ... I grew up to take care of the business. Today Vita is renovating and relaunching the new face of Vita, vita will focus on target young audience this summer and we hope to keep satisfying our customers with the best.

Week 8 EOC: Creative Content

Being in fashion one of my main focus in my product is to make something trendy but also something fit for a customers who ones to be "IN". Vita is "Anything that can be offered to a market for attention, acquisition, or consumption that might satisfy a want or need" The product development is "A strategy for company growth by offering modified or new products to current market segments and trends." These Vodka is different from every other because of the original look and taste. These Vodka is imported from Italy and inspired by the younger generation and the act that everybody likes to follow a trend and be on style now in days. When you first try Vita you will get a “I did not expect these amazing flavor” look on your face. Once you get that “I did not expect these amazing flavor” look on your face you know that we did our job right.  Vodka was created for those and for anyone who is trying to have a good time and have fun. The product concept is "Vita is the happy life, the ultimate perfection."

Implementation Evaluation Control

Price

Pricing is one of the most important elements of the marketing mix, and Vita has thought long and hard about what our price point should be. The cost for production, design, promotion, and distribution all have to be taken into consideration before making a decision. The unique look of the bottle and creativity spent on it will also be something to take into consideration.
We also have to take into account what our competition is doing business-wise. We have seen many product like ours in the United States, there are similar vodkas all over the country and manufacturers that we can compare competitively.  We have used 3 different pricing strategies, combined with our research, to aid in the final decision.  We have used psychological, competitive, and cost based pricing strategies to help achieve our final number.  And, this beautifully designed, colorful glass bottles will be sold at the low retail price of $30 dollars per 22 oz. [650 ml] bottles and six-packs of 12 oz. [355 ml] bottles will be $15.


-Price is the only element in the marketing mix that produces revenue; all other elements represent costs. Price is also one of the most flexible marketing mix elements. Unlike product features and channel commitments, prices can be changed quickly. (275)


Distribution

Direct distribution will take place via Internet sales and any personal 
sales in any store available to you. There will be distribution of Vita 
all over the world so that it is a drink anyone can drink if desired,
 even if you can't buy it at your nearest store in a far country 
you always have the option of internet. This method is used commonly 
to distribute low priced or impulse purchase products such as treats 
, soft drinks, and of course, Vita.

Promotion

Not only will our amazing adds with life colors and amazing colorful bottles be enough to attract people but we will go beyond that. The development of the internet has changed the business environment forever.  Consumers are on average spending more time online then watching television.  E-commerce will be utilized to the fullest with online advertising.  Shoppers will be able to purchase our products from the comfort of their home 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.  Our entire product line will be available for purchase on our website.  We will also promote with the use of banner adverts and pop up advertisements.
Also our vodka is sold all around the world and is accessible in any liquor store.

Sales promotion tools are used by most organizations, including manufacturers, distributors, retailers, and not-for-profit institutions. They are targeted toward final buyers (consumer promotions), retailers and wholesalers (trade promotions), business customers (business promotions), and members of the sales force (sales force promotions). (432)

Product

We’re currently working on market testing and commercialization.  This new product is estimated to have a very long product life cycle. Vita is delicious in more than one flavor, affordable, and will be made available to the public after the may 2016.  We will try and take the lead this summer with this new fun drink that people will be dying to try, our target is simple, make peoples life happy. Young people is our target for this upcoming summer. 

Target Marketing Strategy

To gain this new target market is to sell a worldly experience in an everyday environment, people want to have fun and have good drinks. Our target is simple, young people. With the number of Night club and bars in the US alone, this new venture is designed to tap into that market, and our marketing analysts have predicted lucrative outcomes. Summer is perfect for us to show the world what vita is all about.

The marketing program builds customer relationships by transforming the marketing strategy into action. It consists of the firm’s marketing mix, the set of marketing tools the firm uses to implement its marketing strategy. (12)

Objectives

The specific goal of our company at present is to focus on marketing and production of our newest product, Vita.  The overall objective for our new marketing campaign is to promote brand since it is new and we expect it to be a hit this summer and acquire some loyal customers.  Our current progress includes recipe completion and product packaging design. Final edits on packaging is to be completed by end of this month. This objective will be fulfilled by our knowledgable staff and contractors.  All company resources have been made available, and all personnel necessary to accomplish these goals have been informed of the specifications

Business Mission Statement

Our company will strive to make our customers happy by bringing new sensations that appeal to the senses of this summer and their desire to accomplish that fun summer with out new drink Vita.  We also keep our prices low so that everyone can enjoy our delicious drink.  Our mission is to bring happiness into everyones life with this drink which is giving you life and making you feel young and free, this what life is all about, this is the dolce vita.

Week 7 EOC: The Pitch


'Vita'  the ultimate in perfection.


We must all agree vodka is one of the most popular drinks out there, too many different brands to mention and not really one like Vita. Vita is the happy life, the ultimate perfection. Vita is perfect for minglers and relaxing however it may be from laying next to your pool and having a fresh drink to having a nice dinner and drinks after. Our bottles are very special they basically represent the feel of the label, the colorful bottles are labeled by flavor, so depending on the flavor is the color of the bottle, the Vita comes in various flavors that are fresh and perfect for cocktails and for any fun environment that wants to have that feel of youth and relaxation. Vita is made with one of the purest quality water in Italy, "San Pelegrino". Pelegrino is an Italian brand of mineral water, and assorted real-fruit sodas, with carbonation .

Vita comes in different flavors such as Coconut, watermelon, peach, citrus and raspberry. Each drink comes in very modern colorful glass bottles. Price for this drink various from $10 per separate bottle to $40 per six-pack and $100 for regular large bottle.  Advertisement is always a delight to the eye and shows the youth behind this drink and what it represents. This drink will target young audience, Vita is for anyone who wants to feel young and fresh, and who doesn't? Vita is a happy way of living.

Week 5 EOC: Social Networks and Job Hunting



As of today, companies are starting to use Facebook to find new employees. This creates a major threat to online websites that are looked upon as job boards such as LinkedIn Corp. Right now, the use of Facebook for finding new employees is going slow but it will soon expand in growth and use. “In addition to posting jobs and videos of current employees on its Facebook page, the company has recruiters and other employees find user groups and join discussions.” For example, i feel like Facebook is still a useful source within hiring an employee, at my job they research your name online to see what kind of person you are and what you post outside of work, I never thought that actually happened but it does. Online job recruiting, the old fashioned way of finding brand ambassadors are on a decline. Normally when searching for a new product to use, for example, you'll contact your friends. Maybe they have a similar product and can give you recommendations. After all, you trust your friends and you also trust that your friends wouldn't buy something that didn't work well. Brands then decided they were to locate "brand ambassadors" to push their product, give reviews, and get the word out that their product is good. Yet it's on a decline because maybe sometimes ambassadors are just using the companies to get free product (Free product is a very good incentive to become an ambassador). So non-ambassadors view brand ambassadors as biased and just freeloading off the companies. In my opinion it is preferable to meet and apply for a job in person, I feel it says a lot about the person to show up and meet face to face which shows more professionalism and enthusiasm for the position that sending a simple online application.

Week 4 EOC The cool cult of Apple

The idea that I came up for an innovative app is My Self-design.
My self-design app is an app where you can create your own original designs. For some people sewing and creating things can get difficult, have you ever wanted something really bad but you just could not seem to find it anywhere? What if you did maybe not in the color you wanted or even the size is hard to find. Well, with my self-design app you can create whatever you want, from selecting fabrics to selecting the color, size and fit. With this app being able to create your own style is so easy! Prices for a self design garment depend  on the designs and the fabrics the prices to creating a garment can vary. All of the designs made in this app are specially made in a sewing fabric meaning it is all professional, even if you need any special assistance we have online services and phone operators that can help you out with any questions as far as fits or fabric knowledge because they are product knowledgable on everything having to do with garment construction. Also the making of the garment can take as long as a couple days to make as months depending on the design wanted and the quantity.
My self-design app is available for androids and apple, pretty much any device with app accessibility. My self-app is only 3.99 only which is a great price for such a useful app.

Now with my self-app being your own designer is very easy.

Week 3 EOC: My Demographics

The Millennials (or Generation Y) generation is considered to be "both the baby boomers and Gen Xers will one day be passing the reins to the Millennials (also called Generation Y or the echo boomers). Born between 1977 and 2000, these children of the baby boomers number 83 million, dwarfing the Gen Xers and larger even than the baby boomer segment. This group includes several age cohorts: tweens (aged 9–12), teens (13–18), and young adults (19–32). With total purchasing power of more than $733 billion, the Millennials make up a huge and attractive market. (Marketing an Introduction, Armstrong, P.73) The Millennials are the 83 million children of the baby boomers. According to this definition I fit into the Millennials generation. I would be consider to be a young adult. According to our Marketing book, what Millennials have in common is their utter fluency and comfort with digital technology. I do believe this is true, because in my case I do love technology and when something new in the technology industry comes out, I enjoy knowing how to work it. I also do like electronics and I am very comfortable with technology. In the book they say that as Millennials, we "don't embrace technology, it's a way of life." I also agree with this statement because everything that I do involves technology. For example, I do all of my homework with a computer, and I am always on my phone. There is not one day where I do not use technology in my life, I always do. We not only have computers available, but we also have grown up with cellphones, satellite TV, iPods, and online social networks. I have do have access to all of the things just mentioned. We are the generation that uses most of the technology, and I do agree that we are. The definition that our Marketing book has about the generation Millennials, I do believe that it is on point and I also believe that it describes me one-hundred percent.

Week 2 EOC: Boston Consulting Group - Video Games

Every market has numerous ups and downs over time, the gaming industry is no different. Trends come and go and not all systems can keep up. Nintendo may end up being a rising star this year according to their new amazing "Nintendo NX" ,  With one of our all time favorites, Smash Bros is planned to be a launch title. I am not sure about the date - yet." We'll reach out to Nintendo and Bandai Namco to confirm the legitimacy of the rumor. The Nintendo NX will be unlike any console the company has on the market, according to new Nintendo President Tatsumi Kmishima. In one of his first major public interviews since transitioning to President of Nintendo, Kimishima Opened up about nintendo NX to Time's Matt Peckham. "As far as NX goes, I've said it's different and obviously a new experience," Kimishima said. "That being said, I can assure you we're not building the next version of Wii or Wii U. It's something unique and different. Week 1 EOC My voice

Fashion is my number one passion. Since I was a little girl, I loved playing with my dolls and making clothes for them even without having any type of knowledge in sewing, I still did. I even created  things for my sister and cousins although it was never anything competitive, it was always something I did purely for fun and because I enjoyed it so much. One of my biggest inspiration and influence of all time was my family. Growing up with vain aunts can be inspiring and my aunts were without any doubt my number one source of inspiration growing up. Once I understood people needed to have jobs and all, it was so clear to me what I wanted to do with my life. I was never the most crazy about school but I was sure of one thing, and that was that no matter what I would tolerate high school for the only reason of going to college and being able to finally learn all about fashion and all those techniques that you need to succeed in the fashion business and not only that but to have that knowledge of the things that you like. I always thought all my life that I would be a designer, and only a designer. To be exact I wanted to be just like Carolina Herrera. God, I love her! Any way, once I started going to school it opened my eyes to a whole other world that I had just deleted from my mind. Fashion is not only about the clothe and you know what most people would imagine it to be, being in the fashion industry is so much more that people think it is. I can honestly say there is so many factors that you have to be able to understand to make it in the fashion world, not that I'v made it but from the research I've done and the work I've been able to do with styling, designing, advertising and working on runways I've learned its all a process of learning. To me it is very important to understand every aspect of fashion and what is all represents, how it all comes together in one. Not only because that is the way to make it fashion but because I learned that I love everything else, which means I love styling people, I love visual merchandising, I love the business part of it and that luxury you need to have, I love the sketching part and all the details in a mood board and all the process of getting a runway show together. It's all a great experience and it fills me so much. In this year that I've been in college I learned how much I love doing everything else so it would be impossible for me to only be a designer, I could never be just do one thing. This is why after graduating from my Fashion Design Bachelors I am planning to go to Europe and do my Masters Degree in Fashion Business. I hope to expand on my fashion knowledge as much as I can and what better place to do it that in Europe where all the most stylish fashion comes from. Learning is a never ending process and so I am beyond exited to continue this journey of loving fashion.

Week 1 EOC Great customer experience

I hadn't had Dominos since I was a kid, it had got beyond horrible. When in Mexico though, Dominos was great and the service was excellent. Previously living here in Las Vegas I had not been able to taste Dominos in the longest time since I had changed to Pizza Hut, anyway. I recently started eating Dominos again because my boyfriend only eats either Dominos or Metro Pizza, but I don't like Metro Pizza so I would always go for Dominos.

So, this is where one of my good experiences with dominos begins. After dating my boyfriend for 6 months we were not able to do anything for our month anniversary so since I know how much he likes Dominos I decided to send him a pizza and his favorite pasta to go along with it. I called Dominos that night and ordered a Medium chicken Alfredo pizza with his favorite pasta, heres the catch. I asked the girl who was taking my order if there was any way they could write a note for my boyfriend that said I love you or anything cute whatever it was, and she said yes. When my boyfriend received his order he was so happy and surprised because they had written over the pizza "I love you", with pepperoni slices, but not only that the quality of the food was very good and the service was excellent as well.  I was so happy that they had taken the time to make this pizza so special for him and with no extra charge. Trying it again I realized how good it was and how changed it was from years ago, they have so many good options to pick from and great deals all the time, prices are always good, and if they are late on any pizza deliveries they make sure you get a free pizza next time you order The pizza here is delicious and my mouth is watering just thinking about it. The toppings are always cooked just right, the crust is always nice and soft, and the pizza is never too oily (I hate really oily pizza). For those that are feeling adventurous, they also offer breadsticks, pasta, lasagna, chicken wings, whatever your heart desires. One of the reasons I like to order pizza from there is because every time I order pizza wether it be online or on phone call, everyone is always very polite, and even the delivery guy is always very nice and my food is always on time and hot, definitely something I cannot compare to other pizzeria's in town. I really appreciate good service and I stay loyal to good service because it is very hard to find now, specially with fast food. I definitely think Dominos is a great pizza place to purchase from and their customer service is great.
